Cupid’s Heart Hunt: A Valentine’s Day Activity with Cupid Coloring Pages

Turn our Cupid coloring pages into a fun and engaging Valentine’s Day activity with “Cupid’s Heart Hunt.” This game combines the joy of coloring with a playful heart scavenger hunt.

Materials Needed

Cupid coloring pages
Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
Paper hearts (cut out from colored paper)
Small treats or Valentine’s goodies (optional)
Tape
A space for hiding the hearts (like a room or backyard)

Directions

1. Color Your Cupid

Begin the activity with children coloring their Cupid pages. They can be as creative as they want, adding bright colors and personal touches to their Cupids.

2. Prepare the Paper Hearts

While the kids are busy coloring, cut out several paper hearts from colored paper. On each heart, you can write simple, sweet messages or leave them blank.

3. Hide the Hearts

After the coloring is complete, secretly hide the paper hearts around your chosen area while the children are not looking. If you’re including treats or goodies, you can attach them to the hearts or hide them alongside.

4. Cupid’s Heart Hunt

Once all the hearts are hidden, give each child their colored Cupid page, which they’ll use as their ‘guide’ for the heart hunt. Explain that Cupid has scattered hearts all around and it’s their job to find them.

5. Begin the Hunt

Let the children loose to find the hidden hearts. Encourage them to work together if it’s a group activity, making sure everyone finds a heart.

After all the hearts are found, gather the children and let them share their found hearts and messages. This can be a time for reading the messages aloud and enjoying any treats found.

7. Display the Artwork
