CLAYTON COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT2+ weeks agoAgencyOn March 04, 2024, Clayton County Police Officers responded to 300 block of Coverview Court, Jonesboro GA in reference to a missing person, Mr. Jacob Cook. Mr. Cook was last seen on February 29th 2024 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Jacob Cook is a twenty-one-year-old black male with black hair, brown eyes, 5’04” in height and weighs 100 lbs. Ms. Cook was last seen wearing a Brown hoodie, blue jeans, and Black sneakers. Mr. Cook has been diagnosed with Cognitive Developmental Delay (diminished mental capacity of a teenager). CLAYTON COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT2+ weeks agoAgencyOn March 05, 2024, Clayton County Police officers responded to the 100 block of Highway 138 SE, Riverdale, GA in reference to a missing person. Upon arrival, officers learned that Jaden Freehoffer and Mekhi Wortham left his residence on foot in an unknown direction of travel. Jaden Freehoffer is a fifteen-year-old white male with brown hair and brown eyes, 5’04” in height and weighs 140 lbs. Mr. Jaden was last seen wearing all black clothing and black shoes. Mr. Jaden is diagnosed with Oppositional Defiance Disorder and ADHD. Mekhi Wortham is a sixteen-year-old black male with brown hair and brown eyes, 5’04” in height and weighs 150 lbs. Mr. Mekhi was last seen wearing all black clothing and black shoes. Mr. Mekhi is diagnosed with Oppositional Defiance Disorder and ADHD. CLAYTON COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT2+ weeks agoAgencyOn March 5, 2024, Clayton County Police Department and the DEA had a press release regarding a joint operation about more than 855 pounds of crystal meth being seized. This was found in a storage facility on a busy Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross, Georgia, in a storage unit. This seizure occurred on Monday, March 4, 2024. The street value of the meth is estimated to be worth $1.5 million. The DEA further stated that this is an example of how metro Atlanta is very much involved in cartel drug wars.48Like27
CLAYTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE2+ weeks agoAgency Escaped Inmate from Southern Regional Hospital. ~ SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN Inmate Brandi Marie Cannon was being treated at the hospital after she informed officers that she swallowed drugs before being taken to the jail. She was able to slip her cuffs and pull the fire alarm to escape. This is being reviewed and turned over to Internal Affairs to investigate the conduct of the Deputies and Corrections Officers. Inmate Cannon is described as aWhite Female, Height 5’5, Weight 150, and was last seen wearing black tights and a camouflage t-shirt. On February 2, 2024, Inmate Cannon was charged with: 1. Theft by receiving stolen property Burglary 2. Marijuana less than an ounce 3. Possession of tools during the commission of a crime 4. Giving a false name 5.
