E-Kalyan Jharkhand Scholarship 2023-24 is a renowned online scholarship portal of Jharkhand run by Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Minority and Backward Class Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand. The portal not only enlists the scholarships provided by the department but also invites applications from eligible applicants annually.

The scholarships on the e-Kalyan Jharkhand portal are offered under three categories namely, pre-matric scholarship, post-matric (within state) scholarship and post-matric (outside state) scholarship. The candidates fulfilling the below eligibility criteria can apply for the scholarship on the e-Kalyan Jharkhand portal.

• The students must be a domicile of Jharkhand State.
• The applicants must belong to either Schedule Tribe (ST), Schedule Caste (SC) or Backward Class (BC).
• The candidate’s annual family income from all sources should not exceed as per the list given below.
  • Schedule Tribe (ST) or Schedule Caste (SC) – ₹ 2,50,000
  • Backward Class (BC) – ₹ 1,50,000

Who cannot Apply for the e-Kalyan Scholarship?

The following students are ineligible to apply for the E-Kalyan Jharkhand scholarship 2023 –

1. The students belonging to categories other than Schedule Tribe (ST), Schedule Caste (SC) or Backward Class (BC)
2. The annual family income of the candidate from all sources exceeds the list given below.

• Schedule Tribe (ST) or Schedule Caste (SC) – ₹ 2,50,000
• Backward Class (BC) – ₹ 1,50,000

E-Kalyan Jharkhand Scholarship 2023-24 – Benefits

The selected candidates will receive a tuition fee, and academic allowance/maintenance fees depending on the eligibility criteria. The benefits offered under this scholarship scheme are tabulated as follows.

जिन छात्रों को स्कॉलरशिप के लिए चुना जाएगा, उन्हें ट्यूशन फीस, शैक्षणिक भत्ता या रखरखाव (मेंटेनेंस) फीस की सुविधा मिलेगी। पर ये तभी संभव है जब छात्र अपने सारे पात्रता का मानदंड (एलिजिबिलिटी क्राइटेरिया) को पूरा करे। साथ ही साथ, छात्रों को ये भी ध्यान में रखना होगा की छात्रवृत्ति की राशि योजना के तहत ऊपर उल्लिखित विवरण से अधिक नहीं होगी |

E-Kalyan Jharkhand Scholarship 2023-24 – Documents Required

The applicants are required to submit a few important documents in support of their application to apply for scholarship on E -कल्याण झारखंड portal. It is advisable to the students to keep all the scanned copies of all supporting documents handy before starting the application. The list of documents include –

• Photograph of the student
• Bonafide certificate along with the fee structure
• Income certificate
• Residence certificate
• Marksheet of the previous qualifying examination
• Caste certificate
• Scanned copy of the bank passbook

The students can apply for the scholarships on the E-Kalyan Jharkhand portal by following the below-mentioned steps:-

Step 1: Student Registration

• Visit the e-Kalyan Jharkhand portal at ekalyan.cgg.gov.in.

• Click on ‘Candidate Registration’ section.

• Click on the ‘Register/Sign up’ button to start the registration.
• Provide the basic personal details and register.

Step 2: Logging in to the student dashboard

• Click on ‘Candidate Login’.

• Log in by using a valid registered email/login name/mobile number and password.

Step 3: Filling the scholarship application

• After a successful login, the students need to click on the ‘Apply Online’ button to start with the scholarship application.
• Select the scholarship, fill in all required details such as academic details, personal details, account details, communication address and other details in the scholarship application form.
• Upload all supporting documents.
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

E-Kalyan Jharkhand 2023-24 – Application Status

Once the applicants have successfully submitted their online scholarship application through e-Kalyan, they can further track the actual status of their application by following the below-mentioned steps –

Step 1: Visit the e-Kalyan portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Candidate Login.’

Step 3: Log in to the dashboard using the respective login credentials.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Application Status’ button.

E-Kalyan Jharkhand 2023-24 – Grievances/Complaint Status Check

The applicants can submit and track their lodged grievances/complaints on the portal by following the below-listed steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website.

Step 2: Click on ‘Grievances’ at the top of the dashboard.

Step 3: Fill in the ‘Grievance Registration Form’ and submit.

Step 4: The applicants can also check Grievance Status by their ‘Grievance Reference Number or Student / College Mobile Number’.
